Jennie D Scott was my grandfather's aunt.  Sarah Jennie Dillon was the eldest child of Robert Edmund and Julia Ann (Cully) Dillon.  Jennie married Israel D Scott on 30 November 1893 in Edgar Co, Illinois.  They had two sons:  Clarence Gordon Scott and Kenneth Merle Scott. Her husband died 20 May 1911 in Chrisman, Edgar Co, Illinois.  Jennie is buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello, Bannock Co, Idaho near her son Clarence Gordon Scott.

  1. Welcome to the Geneabloggers family. Hope you find the association fruitful; I sure do. I have found it most stimulating, especially some of the Daily Themes.

May you keep sharing your ancestor stories!

  2. Thanks, Dr. Bill. The stimulation is there. . . in trying to bring many pieces of the puzzle together into a story.

  3. Hi Brenda,

Israel Scott was my g-g-grandfather. My g-grandfather Albert Scott was his son from an earlier marriage. My branch hasn't any contact with the IL Scotts since the 1930's. I don't suppose you have any more info or photos relating to the Scotts? In any case, thanks for posting what you did, it all helps build the story.
